This dune buggy is said to have been assembled by a retired engineer in Naples, Florida, as part of a multi-year build completed in 2008. It features black-finished fiberglass bodywork mounted to a Volkswagen pan and is powered by a Porsche 914–sourced 1.8L flat-four. The car is equipped with dual headlights, quad taillights, and a roll cage along with 17″ American Racing wheels paired with disc brakes at all four corners. The open cabin has dual bucket seats along with a Luisi steering wheel, a Bugpack shifter, and a Bluetooth-enabled stereo. The engine breathes through a single Weber carburetor, while shifting is through a four-speed manual transaxle.
