Due to unforeseen weather conditions, tonight’s kickoff of “Rollin’ on the River” on the has been postponed to next week Tuesday, May 12th starting at 6 PM for beginner lessons. 🌧️👎

We welcome you back for the 8th installment of “Rollin’ on the River” brought to you by the conservancy and ! 🛼🌊☀️

Detroits largest outdoor roller sport meetup is back again this summer, now EXTENDED through September! 🎉

FIRST DATE: Tuesday May 5th, 6-10 PM
6-7 PM : Free beginner learn to skate lessons
7-10 PM: Group rollouts and entertainment at “The Terrace”

Join us for beginner skate lessons, group rollouts, and community building at “The Terrace” at Valade park. Enjoy FREE beginner skate lessons with our instructors and 📚

Entertainment at “The Terrace” is back again this year with with 🎶🔥

Food for purchase is available from one of the best food trucks in the D, 🦞

Ending summer with one more rollout! Come join us for the season finally of the 7th annual “Rollin’ on the River” skate meetups! 🛼🌊☀️

Tonight, the bar will be open for adults 21+ at the Valade cafe, the music will be going all night, and we will wind down our summer programming until next year!

Schedule of events:

6-7 PM: Beginner skate lessons with and 📚

7-10 PM: Open skate on the terrace and group rollouts with music provided by with guest dj 🎤🎧

Food available for purchase from the 🦞
