We are getting in the home stretch everyone and would love to have you come and enjoy the historic Belle Isle courts.

We will be doing a combination POOL PLAY / ROUND ROBIN for divisions so that we can get as much play for everyone throughout the day and have a great time.

REMINDER ALERT EVERYONE!!!

Labor Day is upon us and is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. Let's help not only celebrate Labor Day, but also help all those great workers in celebrating with a great day of racquetball with the 2nd Annual WORLDWIDE RACQUETBALL DAY!

Deadline is this week on Wed. September 4th, so please sign up soon to not only celebrate this great day, but to also give our State of Michigan players the opportunity to HONOR OUR FALLEN FRIENDS on this day and remember all the great racquetball players that we have lost over the years throughout the state.

WE ARE READY FOR ACTION!!!

Times are posted and draws have been released for the 40TH ANNUAL BELLE ISLE LONGWALL CHAMPIONSHIPS presented by Splathead, Chick-fil-A and Benito's Pizza.

A few items to note:

- We want to run a smooth and timely as possible tournament for all to enjoy. Please check in a half-hour before your matches so that we can start matches on time

- You need a recreation pass to enter Belle Isle. If you don't have one and are a Michigan resident, it is only $14 for an annual pass. If you are a non-resident, it is an $11 day pass (Either pass can be purchased at the entry booth to the park, if there is an attendant present)

- On Saturdays, the Island has been getting extremely busy starting around 12pm and backing up cars on the bridge making entry very slow. Please plan ahead and give yourself enough time so as to not delay your matches because wait times have been up to 45 minutes for people to enter the park. Plan on showing up 1 hour before your matches so you don't get stuck on the bridge.

Calling all racquetball players who want to try Padel or if you've played and want to play for free for a day. I am organizing a free Padel day in conjunction with the owners at Zmash for all the players who want to play. Free balls, loaner padel rackets free court time and basic instruction by me on the rules and strategy to play at Zmash Padel in Sterling Heights. I will also provide snacks and light refreshments. I am looking at dates on a Wednesday or Thursday evening in the next week or two. Once I have a headcount I will confirm the date and time for the event. Who wants to give this amazingly fun sport a try or try it again if you've already played? I am gathering a list for headcount. If you are interested in participating, please Message me back and I'll add you to the list for invites. Number of spots may be limited to 32 players. Don't miss out on the fun! Hit me up! The 40th Annual Belle Isle Longwall Championships is being held at the historic Belle Isle courts on August 17th – 18th, 2024 and the deadline is fast approaching.

Greetings all Racquetball players!!!

The 40th Annual Belle Isle Longwall Championships is being held at the historic Belle Isle courts on August 17th – 18th, 2024.

Please join us for the grand re-opening of the courts as we welcome all players to compete on the courts with a rich history of so many great, competitive matches.

After a long hiatus, the 2024 Belle Isle Longwall Racquetball Championships are back and being held at the the beautiful and historic Belle Isle Park in Detroit, Michigan.

Please save the date from Saturday 8/17/24 thru Sunday 8/18/24.

We are all so excited for everyone across the country to come and compete again in this wonderful event and have a great time like we've had for so many years.
