Gemini Skate Frames

3 years ago I tested the first functional prototype for the Gemini Skate Frames. Originally, it only fit 125mm wheels and the h-block wasn't optimized for boot tricks on ledges. In this time, we've added proprietary flip chip spacers to allow both 110mm and 125mm wheels, and optimized the h-block to allow for both tight turns and ledge grind coverage without wheel bite. We also significantly reduced the weight of the frame and added a middle wheel adapter option.

Our pre-orders had unexpected delays, so we have pivoted our plan to machine the grind plates to support the early orders. I'm meeting with the manufacturer to confirm the new timeline this Friday.

Coming next, we are working on a metal grind plate, and a new super durable 110mm wheel. 🤘🏻

Part of this pre-sale has been to light a 🔥 on my 🍑 to get them finished. The other part is simply to Kickstart this project. Over the years, I've contributed to many innovative Kickstarter projects that leveraged crowd funding to bring new products to the industry. I've also been disappointed by false promises. This is why I've already produced and tested the product myself. That being said, there are some significant design changes that will be implemented into the final product. So yes, the product will be different than the picture.

1. The Hblock will be molded out of a stronger material and include grooves on the side to reduce weight.
2. The "Flip Chip" spacers (seen in red) will be black and are being reduced to fit on the inside of the frame. A separate washer may be used on the outside of the frame if desired.
3. The middle wheel adapter (previously red) will be black. The design will be simplified, the step down kink will be removed, and center bushings will be supplied to secure the middle wheel.

Please note that these pictures are of the prototype, the final frame will look different. We've changed pretty much everything except for the red frame.

Many people have been skeptical if these are real or if they actually work for skating ramps and grinding ledges. Stay tuned for the videos. I assure you they can do more than you'd expect.
