Spent the day in the field chasing quail and pheasant with a great group of guys from work — and it turned into one for the books. Crisp air, steady dogs, good shots, and plenty of laughs in between.

The stories this deer could tell. We’ve been trying to find the right words to describe this hunt for a few weeks now. This buck was smart, cunning, and knew the property better than anyone else. One of the few natives left on the property, and he earned his keep.

48 sits. Two years. Countless lessons in patience.
This deer didn’t come easy for Randy, but that made it all the more rewarding. He finally sealed the deal a few weeks ago with his grandfather’s open-sight .30-30 and it made the moment unforgettable.

Some hunts are about more than the harvest—and this was one of them.
