️For Immediate Release 🌺 Summer Muse Festival holds its third community get-together of the season on Saturday, September 20 from 4-8pm at the Rail River Folk School, Bemidji (MN). Each event is a free and inclusive celebration of the creative spirit of the season featuring artists selling creative wares, live music, food vendors, and creative activities.
The September 20 event is a great opportunity to shop gifts for the gift-giving season from one of the featured creatives. The public can explore the creative works of Radical Fun Art Time (fine art stuff), Dahl Rxchange (jewelry and sewn goods), Lost Flower Designs (one-of-a-kind jewelry), Molly Turner (fiber art), Diamond (paintings of flora and fauna), 80HD Arts (paintings, jewelry, permanent floral arrangements), and Mary Turner (array of sewn and canned items). Live music starts at 6 pm with Chelsaurio, a Bemidji duo who share songs from all over the world in both Spanish and English. They will be followed by Bemidji band, Tiny Town who self describe as a jukebox for music-heads. Folks can purchase a late lunch or evening meal from Zip Zap Vegan Grill, serving mostly organic and vegan foods.
Summer Muse Festival is free and open to the public. The mission of the event series is to facilitate an environment for the local community to share and experience creative arts. The official Summer Muse Festival season finale will occur on October 18 as makeup for the summer solstice event that was canceled because of the storm that hit Bemidji. Those interested in finding out more or signing up for future events can visit the event’s website at SummerMuseFestival.com or email Diamond at [email protected].
