Post 15 Legion off to a good start with a 7-3 record. We head to Omaha Sunday morning for a tournament and to bring the boys to the College World Series. Looking forward to some good baseball and memories!

Detroit Lakes Legion Post 15 opened up the season with a double header sweep of rival Fergus Falls. Dl won 17-3 in game one. Mason Omberg was 4-4 and Grady Kirchner was 3-3. Dl collected 16 hits in all. Blaine Henderson picks up the win striking out 5 batters in 3 innings of work. In game two, Post 15 won 9-5 with Zack Oistad picking up the win with Jordan Tucker getting the save. Oistad also collected two hits. Post 15 will play one game tomorrow night at 730pm vs Ulen-Hitterdal before they head to Mandan,ND For a weekend tournament .

Post 15 Junior Legion has their season opener tonight at Washington Park vs Perham 7pm. Come cheer on the boys! Good luck to the Varsity team tomorrow on the road at Sartell.
