Spent such a great week last week with these amazing Chixs!! This is an awesome group of young ladies!! I couldn’t be any prouder to have been a part of these amazing young ladies lives!! Some we have been with 8 to 10 years and others we just had the privilege of joining forces with last fall. But we have grown to love them all like our own kids!! Sorry we left early Saturday girls, I was trying to keep from bawling my eyes out (it didn’t work). I did NOT want to say good-bye cause we will see you all again. Please send me your high school and college schedules!! We are super proud of each and every one of you and look forward to seeing what your futures hold!! Today my coaching career has come to an end, as the Chix fell in a 7 inning nail bitting contest to a tough Tulsa Hype losing 4 to 3 at the USSSA Nationals in Destin Florida. I could not be more proud of the way the team battled today in the Arkansas Chix final game. The umpires said this had been the best game of the series of all the teams played.

Hard to believe 4 years ago a man could gather up a group of rec ball players , and began a determined journey to build a competitive softball team from it. The girls that have made it. Have worked very very hard to be successful. We combined forces with the Young guns players last fall and have played as one team throughout the fall and summer.

Not only have I watched these young ladies mold into a recond force of softball players , but also beautiful women. During the last 2 years we have had the following softball players sign a scholarship to compete at the collegic level. We wish them all the best in their prosperous future as they earn their degree.

Having a bite to eat with the team after our last pool game. Bracket play starts at 8 am tomorrow. Love spending time with these young ladies. Sure gonna miss them when it’s over 😢

Good job today ladies!! Played hard. Lost first one and won second one!! Not a bad day. Bats started waking up at the end!! Let’s keep it up tomorrow!! Go Chixs!!

Had another great weekend hanging out with these amazing young ladies!! Ended up in 5th out of 18 teams. Not to bad for a team that lives on opposite sides of the state and have never even had a practice together. Blessed to get to be a part of these girls lives!! Hope I got some pics of everyone this weekend. I am NOT a photographer like Angie Nuckolls Squires!! Sure missed her and MB this weekend!! Get well soon MB and let’s all get ready for Florida!!!
