Last week, we wrapped up an incredible Instructor Development Course and our candidates absolutely crushed it! After conquering their Instructor Examination, they didn’t slow down. They jumped right into the next step of their professional journey with MSDT training!

With that being said, our FINAL IDC of 2026 is coming up on October 16!!

The Instructor Development Course is one of the most challenging, rewarding, and exciting step you can take as a dive professional (in our totally unbiased opinion). It’s where dive knowledge, underwater skills, leadership, and a whole lot of passion for the ocean come together.

Conditions were perfect, the training was awesome, and the vibes were even better. Open water is just the beginning it opens the door to so many different avenues in diving.

They spent the last week in our Instructor Development Course learning how to teach the world to dive. The Dive Theory prep, skill work, and long days in the pool and classroom have paid off and our whole crew could not be more proud of you both!

Students ages 13–17 will spend 6 incredible days living aboard Blackbeard’s in the Bahamas—diving the crystal-clear waters of the Exumas, exploring coral reefs, learning marine science, and building confidence and independence through a truly unforgettable experience.

🌊 THE ADVENTURE INCLUDES:

🎓 PADI certification opportunities

🦈 Sharks, rays, turtles & incredible marine life
📚 College credit available for most PADI courses
