Now that my boat is gone. I won't hesitate when asked to get out the water. Despite the rough conditions that weren't supposed to be, we manged to troll for blackfins and hoped for a wahoo. Caught the largest barracuda i ever have and then caught a second one. Wound up with a nice mahi, a blackfin tuna and the icing on the cake was a 40 lb cobia. All in all good to be back out there

Another fun day on the Gulf. Bought bait from the bait boat and ran out early. The current was ripping out there today but we managed afew of a few species. Dalton got his first king mackeral !

HAPPY 4TH TO EVERYONE. There's something about fireworks on the beach maybe it's being this close.

What a rough morning trying to find bait that wanted to bite. Left with only 3 live baits but plenty of pinfish, frozen cigar minnows and bonita chunks. Turned out the fish ate what we brought. Little 6 year old David was on fire. He caught his first ever AJ, red snapper, black snapper and mingo snappers. One happy little fisherman!

Always love it when he's here and we get to fish together. He was on his game today. Mingos, black snapper, scamp, lionfish, bonita and red snapper

It's always great when you have such a terrific family on the boat. Wish the weather had been better for them but they were all troopers as I struggled to stay over the bottom where the fish were thanks to the east wind and waves.

Great opening day of red snapper. 4 over 27 inches 2 man limit by 8 am. Bonus sailfish to end the day
