Hello Dolphin Families! It is time to register once again for a great fun summer of swimming with the Destin Dolphins. Registration forms are the at the front desk of the Aquatic Center and you can sign up starting today. Practices will begin on June 8 and run through July 24. We will be sending out an email regarding an organizational meeting which will take place prior to the first practice. We look forward to seeing everyone at the pool this summer!!!!

We have to know by practice today if your swimmer is participating in the meet this weekend in fort walton. Make sure you have emailed a coach to RSVP.

I sent out an email that contains the heat sheet for the Fast and Fun Meet this Friday at the ACD. There are some events where you will only see one or two swimmers. For those events, we will combine the boys and the girls if we can. Also, for those swimmers that are NOT swimming an event that they have just been dying to swim, we will try to be flexible and give your swimmer the opportunity to swim that event.

There are no programs being held from 2-4pm on Fridays at the ACD. We ask all parents to arrive at the pool by 3:30pm. We will start warmups at 3:45pm, then start the meet at 4:00pm. We don't foresee the meet lasting any longer than two hours.

We will be needing at least 8 parent volunteers to be timers. We simply just want someone at the end of the lane to let the swimmer know what their time was at the end of their race. We are trying to keep this meet super fun and not super official. We will also need the usual parent volunteers to make sure that the swimmers are making it to their events on time.

Culver's ice cream will be provided at the meet. We also ask for parents to bring their coolers with water, gatorade, and snacks. Again, we want our last day of the season to be a fun one!
