• Bag drop and outside operations

This weekend, we hosted our annual Men’s MGA Summer Classic & Club Championship at Indian Bayou.

Twenty one players across four flights battled it out for the opportunity to have their names engraved on two of our trophies.

Randy Coleman captured this year’s MGA Summer Classic title with a net score of 70. In addition to defending his title for the second consecutive year, Randy also posted the low gross score of the first round with an impressive 77.

After the opening round, all players within eight strokes of the lead made the cut and advanced to Sunday’s championship round. Eleven golfers earned the chance to compete for the Club Championship.

After 18 holes on Sunday morning, Zach Buckner emerged victorious with a two-day total of 154 (79-75), winning the Club Championship by five shots. This marks Zach’s first Club Championship victory at Indian Bayou.

Randy has moved up to first place in the season long MGA points standings with 4 events remaining in this season.

Congratulations to Zach and Randy on their outstanding performances, and thank you to everyone who competed and made this year’s event a great success!

Congratulations to MGA President & longtime Indian Bayou member Mr. Dennis Murray on his first hole in one today! Mr. Murray hit a hole in one on #17 in our annual Valentine’s Day Mix-N-Match Event. With his ace, his team moved into a tie for 3rd place overall!
