We’ve had some sporty, rough seas since last Wednesday, but we don't let a choppy Gulf slow down the mission. This morning, Capt. Jakob gave the Gulf a shot on the Slay Ride, saw the conditions, and made the executive call to pivot north into the calm, protected waters of the inlet and bay.

The result? An absolute clinic on some massive, trophy-class "axe handle" Spanish Mackerel! 🪓🎯
These fish put up an incredible fight on light tackle and make for a phenomenal local Hook & Cook at the harbor restaurants. 🍽️🔥
