☮️This beginner’s class is designed for folks who would like to take their time, stretch, breathe, while finding a little flow.
Slow Flow will incorporate traditional yoga poses in a more gentle way, while still focusing on strength and flexibility.
〰️Expect some modifications and adjustments to focus on accessibility, as well as gentle breathing techniques.

☮️Chair Yoga will offer all of the benefits of a traditional yoga class while utilizing the chair to support your practice. 🪑💕
This class will increase strength, circulation, and flexibility while offering some ease and relaxation.
Mondays 1-1:45pm

I ditched yoga.
Well, to be honest... I was the instructor and I just canceled my online class.
I didn't have a fancy meeting, I wasn't out of town.
I just took the dog for a walk with my teen. And THAT is an important occasion.
Be gentle with yourself my dear friends.
And make time to enjoy this sunshine while we have it!

Hey friends, the next session of Vinyasa with me at LVC starts 9/2! 🙂
And during these turbulent, challenging times, it is especially important to carve out time to care for yourSelf.
➡️ Every day we are reminded how little control we have over what is going on in the world. But it helps me to remember the small things I CAN control.
💕 Focusing on keeping the things in my reach joyful, and peaceful.

Join me for Vinyasa Yoga at Lakeview Center on Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm.
✨️This class is designed for a more experienced practitioner and will focus on connecting breath and movement. Vinyasa Yoga will get your whole body moving, increase your heart rate, build strength, and offer tools to reduce stress.
This class will incorporate a variety of yoga poses with seamless transitions, creative sequences and a challenging pace.

Hey friends, this heat is no joke.
I have received texts, emails and DMs from people who are interested in this community class, but NOT interested in heatstroke!
I hear you!
We have a date in August set aside for our next Community Outdoor Yoga in support of Camino Rising.💕 AND, brightside: this has opened the door for conversations with interested participants about the work that Camino Rising is doing *every*single*day* for our neighbors.
I had friends text me saying "I had no idea this organization exists!" And THAT is something this heatwave can't take away!
Soooo, no Outdoor Yoga in July. ☀️
Let's try again in August!

Join me on the lawn at First Church in Des Plaines (at Graceland & Prairie) for a meaningful, rooted flow.
💕We are dedicating this practice to the important work that Camino Rising is doing in our community to help friends and neighbors in need. ALL class fees will be donated to Camino Rising in support of their work (check the link in comments!⬇️)

Pure Joy!
Thank you so much to S.P.E.A.K. Des Plaines and all of the folks who supported, sponsored and volunteered at this amazing Pride Celebration!
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Sometimes it feels like joy is out of reach, illusive.
But events like this are a reminder that joy is all around us.
In the smiles of strangers.
In the hugs from dear friends.
Joy is in the stories of love, hope, acceptance and perseverance shared during Storytime.
Joy is what filled our plates and bellies with FREE food donated by local restaurants or bought by event supporters.
Joy is in painted faces, and bubbles, and sidewalk chalk, and friendship bracelets, and stickers.
Joy is in the music and dancing of dedicated, talented drag performers.
💗Joy is flowing through each and every one of us. We just might occasionally need a little help digging it out. Uncovering the joy that can sometimes get buried under fear, sadness, guilt, anxiety, or embarrassment.
So happy that I could share a little bit of joy with the community at our DP Pride Celebration.
