If you've been thinking about trying brazilian jiu jitsu now is the time. Here at the academy, we teach authentic,fundamental Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced student, a hobbyist or competitor, we have the class for you.. We offer classes in Brazilian jiu jitsu every day... We have NO-GI classes as well as our MMA program..

You have some time around lunch. Come check us out Tuesdays and Thursdays 12 PM, Brazilian jiu jitsu class and soon to be added Monday, Wednesday 45 min Lunchbox class, where at punch, kick and sweat it out!!

All our Kids and Adults classes are taught by High Level Blackbelts.

What am incredible weekend for our kids!!

We competed in what turned out to be the largest kids , brazilian juijitsu event in the midwest to date.
With approximately150 teams and close to 500 kids competing!

That being said Premier Jiu-Jitsu Academy placed 3rd Overall as Best Academy!

At our first team competition of the year, we took thirty kids to compete and are bringing home 24 medals! We were top 5 in most metals awarded, top 3 for most Gold Medals won... securing us the 3rd Best Gym.

The exciting part for us is that of the 30 competitors we took 25 was their first time competing and 23 of them were white belts , with six months training or less, a few less than a month!

Thank you to all the professors and Coaches, Tony, Diogo Rodrigo de Oliveira , Rob Cal , Fatimah Sayyad, Jim Peterson, , Mark Herskovitz , TJ for getting these kids ready to go out there to battle. Also want to thank Gabi Passini and Danielle for all your help keeping up with the schedule and where the kids needed to be at all times. Amazing teamwork!

Thank you to all parents for having faith and trust in us, for believing in us but more importantly, believing in your kids. Thank you for finding the time to consistently bring your kids to class.It's a team effort.

Lastly, I want to thank all the kids at the academy for getting your teammates ready. And, most important the students that competed. You went out there fought your hearts out. Never gave up fought till the end and with all your hard work, commitment and dedication as a Team we managed to accomplish something so great! Keep grinding, keep showing up and let's do this again!

We can't tell you how proud we are of all 30 of you!

Today we had an amazing time hosting the AI Team from Crowe, for a fundraising Self Defense seminar!

We we're excited to help raise money for one of our favorite organizations around, located here in Park Ridge!

Avenues To Independence!!

We were able to raise close to $2000 with Crowe matching 100 percent!

Thank you Crowe and especially Joe Gill and all the people that attended, for helping put this event together, and for all the donations! Your team was energentic and an absolute blast to work with.

If interested, we are still excepting donations until next Friday and of course you can always donate to them directly anytime. Also, please visit their antique/ Thrift shoppe on Touhy avenue in Park Ridge.... some great hings in there

Thank you Prof Rob Cal, and Coaches Jim and Lincoln for helping today! Can't forget the crew at Chiplote for our post workout Protein fill up. The food was great as always!

What an incredible week of training! These kids are amazing and a constant reminder of why we do what we do.

Thank you too all the professors, coaches, students and parents, for all your continued support!
Together we are stronger!!

We love training with our brothers and sisters from Brasil 021. Our mats will always be your mats!

Thank you Professor Andre Negao Terrencio for taking time out of your busy schedule to be with us on the mats, teaching the class and also Professor Vinicius for teaching and sharing your knowledge with us!

So, if you missed us this week, don't worry, get off your butts and come join us. We will all be back on the mats, together again next week!

Wow!! We ended our week with an incredible seminar by Maxamillian Schneider. Such great techniques with amazing little details! Everyone had an amazing time and we all are already talking about the next one! It was such great energy!
Thank you Max, for taking time to come by and share your knowledge with all of us, we certainly look forward to having you back again real soon. Thank you too David, for being Max's Uke, and helping the team as well!!
