What a gem of a weekend with a side of heat and rain 🥎

The Heart of the Diamond Classic was packed with big hits, diving plays, championship moments, and memories that will last 😍.

To all the teams who traveled near and far, the families who filled the stands, the umpires who kept the games moving, the volunteers who worked behind the scenes, got fields ready, braved it out in the rain , every athlete who left it all on the field and to our sponsors that believed in our girls—thank you💎🥎🧡💙.
We saw bats that were on 🔥 , defenses that sparkled, and enough hustle to shine brighter than the Iowa sun. While only a few teams went home with hardware, every player helped make this weekend something special 🫶🏼

From first pitch to the final out, this tournament truly hit it out of the park 🥎 .

Hello Families,

Due to the weather, today's tryout has been canceled.

For players who were registered to attend today, coaches will be reaching out directly to schedule private tryouts as needed. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work through the weather-related change.

Because of the cancellation and the need to complete private evaluations, there may be a slight delay in the bid process. Our goal is still to move as quickly as possible while ensuring every athlete receives a fair evaluation.

💎 Day 1 = Complete. What a start 🔥

The sun showed up, the competition showed out, and the Heart of the Diamond Classic delivered from first pitch to last out. ☀️🥎.

We watched athletes leave it all on the field, teammates cheer each other on, and families fill the complex with energy all day long. These are the moments that make this game special 💪🏻.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today one to remember. Rest up, rehydrate, and get ready for another great day tomorrow at the diamonds💎

🚨515 Shoutout 🚨

A huge thank you to Steve Nolte and Steve Clair for everything they’ve done to make our fields what they are today.

Steve Nolte has been the driving force behind many of the major field improvements, especially the leveling and drainage work that has transformed our complex. His knowledge, vision, and willingness to tackle big projects have helped create a foundation that benefits every player, coach, and family who steps onto these fields.

And then there’s VP Steve Clair.

Over the last several weeks, Steve has seemingly lived at the complex. The amount of time and effort he has put in preparing for this tournament is hard to put into words. From mowing, dragging, lining fields, fixing equipment, handling last-minute projects, and making sure every detail is ready, he has poured countless hours into making sure our athletes and visiting teams have fields they can be proud to play on.

Most people will show up this weekend and see beautiful fields. What they won’t see are the early mornings, late nights, and endless hours of volunteer work that went into making it happen.

515 Fastpitch is built by people who care, and Steve Nolte and Steve Clair are perfect examples of that. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do behind the scenes to make our organization better every single day.

Thank you both for your dedication to 515 Fastpitch. The work doesn’t go unnoticed. 💙🧡

🥎 Heart of the Diamond 515 Classic is finally here! 🥎

We’re excited to host our first-ever Heart of the Diamond tournament this weekend and can’t wait to see all the teams hit the field.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, come hang out with us!

Great first week of tryouts!

We’ve had an awesome first round of tryouts and have received a ton of positive feedback from players, parents, and coaches. The talent, effort, and excitement we’ve seen so far has us fired up for what’s ahead.
