Couple of splinters in ProCut on the bench about to get their handles. One is some old burlap micarta with blue and black g10 liners. The other is getting some black linen micarta with red and black g10 liners. Both will get brass hardware.

Copper Creek Knives is back up and running after an unplanned hiatus. I've been hoping to make this post for a while but injuries and a few other things have been hindering me for some time. I'll be a little slow getting back to it because my shoulder can't handle a lot right now but the quality of work will be no different. I have a fun little first batch of 8 lined up and I'll be posting pictures along the way. A good portion of these are collaboration knives with Eastern Roadside Creations.

This collaboration with Eastern Roadside Creations is made from some of our ladder dragon scale (1085 ball bearings, 52100 ball bearings, and 1090 + 4% nickel powder) san mai with 80crv2 core. The blade is only quick etched for testing, it will look even better post handle attachment. The handle will be a set of segmented scales Carlin (Eastern Roadside Creations) and I built made from marbled carbon fiber and mammoth tusk with a TrueStone turquoise spacer, g10 frames and g10 liners.

To anyone who had contacted me about custom orders and are still interested, get back in touch with me. I'm ready to take on custom orders again and as of right now the list is short.

Copper Creek Knives will be at the badger show this weekend at the Eastern Roadside Creations table with my buddy Carlin Al-Andas. We will have some really cool collaboration blades on his table and he's been gracious enough to let me put a couple of mine on the table as well. Come stop by if you're coming to the show!

In light of recent things coming up from a certain brand of knives using imported blade blanks for their knives and lying to their distributors and customers... I want to make a specific guarantee that Copper Creek does not ever use blade blanks made any other way than my two hands. I would NEVER put my mark on anything I didn't make with my own two hands, period. The fact that a company this big in the knife industry did this, I'm sure has shaken some people's trust. I offer 100% transparency and a personal guarantee that I have never and will never be deceptive.

I honestly can't believe I felt compelled to make a post like this but I was listed as an approved maker in their group and want to distance myself from this situation. I want nothing to do with anyone/any company that would make the decision to do something like this instead of just being honest.

I feel bad for the employees who lost their jobs so suddenly. I feel bad for the distributors left holding stuff they'll have to heavily discount to get any of their money back on, especially since they're top notch and offering refunds on the affected runs. I feel bad for the customers who were lied to. I feel bad for the collectors who have a lot of knives worth much less than they were last week. There is one man I don't feel bad for. One man who made these decisions to deceive so many.
