Middle and High School football players get registered!

All players need an up to date physical and to sign the concussion form. Players cannot practice if these aren’t done.

Bound Registration (7-12 grade) is open for the 2026-2027 school year! Please register for ALL sports your son/daughter plans to participate in this year. If they end up not going out for a particular sport, it's easy for us to remove them from that team.

Required forms include an up to date athletic physical (good for 1 calendar year), yearly concussion, and medical consent. All are included in the Bound registration process.

Practices for HS Football and HS Girls tennis begins Aug 3rd. While HS Volleyball and HS Cross Country start date is Aug 10th. 7th and 8th grade sports will begin once school starts on Aug 24th.

Shout out to one of our incoming Freshman, Carter Ahrens. Carter competed against over 100 of the top Middle School football players from the state in the Iowa All State Game. He received college level coaching and challenged himself both physically and mentally. We’re proud of your hard work and can’t wait to see how you impact Saydel Football!

Here is our Week 2 Scoreboard. We have divided the team roster into a Green Squad and a White Squad. They earn accountability points for attendance and earn points in competition drills during practice. These teams are competing to win each day in hopes of their team winning a trip to Top Golf.

Green Team is currently winning, 5 days to 3.

Hosted by the Saydel Varsity Football Program & Coach Dolan, incoming 1st-8th grade students can register for the Saydel Football School.

Dates: 6/15, 6/17, 6/22, 6/24, 7/6, 7/8, 7/13, 7/15

Registration fee of $50/ t-shirt is included

Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Developmental: Incoming 1st-4th Grade
-Football Fundamentals and Terminology
-Multiple Position Experiences
-Group Movement Games

Competitive: Incoming 5th-8th Grade
-High Tempo Atmosphere
-Position Specific Mini Lessons
​-Lost of reps in competitive situations

**There will NOT be an August football camp, Summer Football School will be the only youth football opportunity this year.**
