Biggest mistake a lot of players make in the off season is focus way too much on “on ice” training and not enough emphasis on strength training and nutrition. In season your energy expenditure is through the roof, I get it keep weight on and gaining weight is hard. So cut the energy expenditure down 50% and increase your caloric intake. Do it consistently and over a course of 4 months, you’ll gain weight.

I don’t know what to eat, I don’t like that food, this food, end of the day. Either make excuses or find a way. Sometimes you’re going to have to eat and not enjoy it, welcome to life. Here’s a simple easy 750 calorie to go snack.
100 grams of oats
85 grams banana
40 grams honey
27 grams protein powder
Estimated around 110 carbs, 38 protein, 15 fat. Perfect pre skate or pre workout snack (1-1.5 hour pre activity) if you can’t eat 3500-4000 calories a day, god bless.
