With the beginning of spring comes tournament weather. On most weekends the park will be full as well as the parking lots. Keep these things in mind when making plans to attend a tournament at the park:
• Park hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. No overnight parking is allowed.
• Any vehicle you bring to the park must fit in ONE parking space. RVs are not allowed if they won’t fit in one spot.

The Derby Police Department will be enforcing parking ordinances so please be mindful of where and how you park.

At the Jan. 23, 2024, City Council meeting, the Council voted to authorize ex*****on of an agreement with Professional Engineering Consultants for $804,850 for design, procurement, and construction management services for Decarsky Park Phase II.

Phase II will include:
o Four 230' ballfields with artificial turf infields with LED lighting, scoreboards and dugouts
o A 100' ADA ballfield
o Main concessions with restrooms + satellite restroom facilities
o Playground
o Four batting cages
o Warm up field
o 750 stall parking lot to accommodate parking demands
o Park shade, benches, sidewalks, landscaping, ADA bleachers

The LED ball field lighting at Decarsky Park is high quality, allowing great visibility on the fields while reducing glare and preventing shine beyond the fields, parking lots, and surrounding neighborhood.
