Join the Derby Recreation Commission at High Park for a fun and free event.

Join us next Saturday, September 5, from 9-11 a.m. at High Park for our FREE Kids' Fishing Derby! Kids ages 5-14 can win prizes and enjoy donuts while spending the morning fishing. Fishing poles and bait will be provided. Check-in and donuts will be located at the Gazebo. We hope to see you there!

Suggested parking: gravel lot in the southeast corner of the park.

Summer fun is in full swing at High Park!

Before you head to the splash pad and playground, please take a moment to review the rules that help keep these spaces safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.

Play structures are designed for specific age groups. Please follow the posted age recommendations and help children choose equipment appropriate for them.

Splash pad hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Thank you for doing your part to help everyone have a safe and fun visit!

To help prepare for Fireworks in the Park, the High Park pickleball court lights will turn off at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4.

If you're planning to play, be sure to wrap up your match before the lights go out. Then stick around and enjoy an incredible evening of fireworks with the community!
