We are a full service custom rod building shop, building rods on all of the industry leading blanks. We specialize in surf, inshore, and near shore but can accommodate your needs from trout to giant tuna. Additionally we have a custom tackle component providing the finest hand made rigs and tackle available anywhere. We offer custom reel tuning and building as well as seminars on a variety of topics as well as casting instruction to individuals as well as groups.

One week ago, we lost not only a member of the Grumpys family, but one of the best people we’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.

Sean Smida meant so much to all of us. He wasn’t just an incredible fisherman. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back, always willing to lend a hand, share a laugh, or help anyone who needed it. His kindness, loyalty, generosity, and larger than life personality left an impact that will never be forgotten.

This Tuesday, August 4th we’ll come together to celebrate Sean’s life, and we’d love for everyone who knew him to join us. Whether you fished with him, worked alongside him, grew up with him, or simply had the chance to know him, we hope you’ll stop by to share a story, raise a glass, and celebrate the incredible man he was.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Sean’s family and shown so much love over the past week. The outpouring has been nothing short of amazing and is a true testament to the life Sean lived.

We’ll see you Tuesday, August 4th, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pig and Parrot Sandbar in Brielle as we celebrate the life of our brother, Sean. ❤️

Just a heads up. I will be at the Berkeley Striper Club flea market at the Buzzfly table. I'll have a selection of custom rods. Selling these at the cost if the components. Most new unused. May have some blanks also.

I will also be doing a "Fishing Only" yard sale in the near future.

The Bible says the first time God destroyed the earth by water and he promised to never do that again (The real meaning of the Rainbow).

He went on to say I will destroy it by fire the second time. I won’t even pretend I understand all of the book of Revelation, but I do understand quite plainly that I wish to spend eternity in Heaven.

I have been hearing about the second coming of Christ and the events unfolding since I was a child. The "Mark of the Beast" Artificial Intelligence, microchips, no cash/digital currency, total government dependency/control.

When we are raising a family, working long hours, some two jobs, lots of things go unnoticed or just get ignored. No one can comprehend how bad it will be, but we see it happening, bit by bit, on the news everyday.

While the devil is preparing people for the Anti Christ, God is preparing people for the Rapture.

I don’t know when the rapture will take place but I know that I’m not planning to be left behind when that trumpet sounds!

I also believe right now that God is giving us a chance to turn our lives around and live according to His will.

We need to get the Gospel message out!

Until the good Lord calls me away from this world to go home, I want to make it clear that I believe in Jesus Christ as the one and only true Lord and Savior. Despite the fact that I am human, and I fail a lot, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

This is the best challenge I have seen on Facebook, so if the Holy Spirit moves you and you’re not ashamed, just COPY, and make this your status update.

I’m a believer in God The Father, Jesus The Son, and The Holy Spirit Amen.🙏🏾 Amen!!!!!!
