“A giant looks in the mirror and see’s nothing.”
Looking at these pictures definitely makes me miss it… but what I miss most of all is that daily grind and the smiles I bring to peoples faces when I’m in that club working towards goals BIGGER than myself.
It’s easy to walk in and train, but when you’re in front of someone who’s had anxiety and stress about their health and appearance for so long, you want to make sure the sense of urgency, care and love, and continuation of nutritional knowledge and mechanics is at the forefront of their programs.
TRAINERS
You have to love and respect the grind and process that is required of you daily to push others to their goals, as well as you to yours. It is NOT easy. Remember the people in front of you are PEOPLE too, paying you time/money! Regardless of the amount and time paid for or personal issues they bring to you, it is your responsibility to help that person like they were your own mother, brother or cousin.
I’ve gotten to a point where it doesn’t feel like work no matter how busy or how many clients I have. It’s truly a rewarding and selfless job. Remember to trust the process and as long as you continue to transform in a positive way, NOTHING can stop you from being an amazing trainer.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Trainer,
