So it’s been a while since I posted. This week has been a week to remember. Stephen Turner of Brothers Construction Inc, his son McKinley, a few employees, and a few business partners booked the boat for 7 days. This was one of the best all around trips I have done. I’m exhausted. Now on the plane to Kodiak for 10 days with Cranberry Creek Lodge. Here is a shortlist of the bounty Depoe Bay provided for the week. For 7 people, 119 rockfish, 29 ling cod of which 5 busted 18 #, 2 coho, a nice 18.5 # Chinook, and over 300 crab. This is a lot, but I see a lot of family members, friends, and many seafood boils ahead. Thank you to all the guys and gals this week.

A couple who fishes together, stays together. These 2 from the Tri-Cities had a blast. The weather was a bit nautical, but they thought it was like a Disneyland water ride. They caught ling Cod, 3 limits of rockfish, and a bakers dozen of Dungeness Crab. Thanks for the Thai lunch in Depoe Bay guys.

Well, I’m glad we didn’t believe the forecast. Had a great day out on the water. These guys came for limits of Ling Cod and left with limits of Ling Cod. Some bonus rockfish too.
