Rockaway River on the River! 🎣

Despite last week’s rain and chilly weather, our members had a great time at our first two Fly Fishing Workshops! The workshops began with a presentation about fly fishing before getting suited up in their waders and boots to head out to the river! Thank you to the guides from Suburban Fly Fishers and The Delaware River Club for sharing your expertise with us!

Happy Opening Day Rockaway River! ⛳️
Today was our Men’s opening day and we had beautiful weather and a turnout of over 100 golfers! We began the day with a ceremonial tee-off by our most tenured members of the day. Congratulations to our winners, Mr. Zambrano, Mr. Morfogen, Mr. Faccenda and Mr. Savarese pictured with our Head Golf Professional, Stephen Crawford, and Golf Professional Emeritus, Greg Baker! Way to kick off another great season at The Rock! 🎉

Club Championship weekend ended with amazing matches! Ryan Powers was crowned Champion over Jimmy Apostolico with a 2 Up victory, defending his Championship win from last year. Congratulations to both players for a great showing and some great golf. Another congratulations to Meral Malady on her 8th Club Championship win here at Rockaway River, defeating Anne Patracuolla 5 & 3 in the finals. Huge congratulations to all our various flight winners and runners-up in the Championship. ⛳️🏆🎉
