The best golf of the year and FROST DELAYS are here! ❄️⛳
Fall has been great for regrowing our turf, but shorter days and crisp nights mean frost is on the way.
Why does frost matter?
When moisture freezes on grass blades, walking or driving a cart over it can break the frozen blades and damage the plant. The result: brown or black footprints and tire tracks that can stick around for weeks.
What can you expect?
▪️ We can't predict when frost will lift. It's a check-and-see approach, and conditions change day to day.
▪️ Courses have wide open spaces, low areas where cold air settles, and shaded spots that hold frost longer. No frost on your lawn doesn't mean no frost on the course.
