Aegis, pronounced /ˈē-jis/, is a shield or breastplate emblematic of majesty and was often associated with Zeus and Athena. In Greek mythology, an aegis was something that offered physical protection. In stories, the Aegis was a thundercloud where Zeus kept the thunderbolts he used as weapons. Aegis first entered into the English language in the 15th Century as a noun meaning "shield" or "protecti

on". At Aegis Tactical Training we believe just that, protection! Our training is of the highest quality to offer you and your loved ones the shield and protection needed in our ever changing and dynamic world. Whether you take our CCW/Introduction to Pistol Course or complete the entire course schedule, you will learn necessary skills and fundamentals needed to be confident and accurate to be the shield of protection for you, your family and friends. With over 15 years of teaching at the highest levels of the Law Enforcement and Military communities, you will know you are learning from the best. We believe in safety and fundamentals first! You will never be in a large training environment or just “going through the motions”. We believe in the intimate learning experience where you will learn directly from the instructors.
