I’m having the hardest time writing this post, but I am stepping down as head coach of our LCS volleyball program. I’ve cherished every season and the opportunity to coach such a wonderful group of young women over the last seven seasons. This program has been my baby since I moved down here and it is hard letting go as I feel like I am letting go of a huge part of me.
I will miss the game, the practices, the workouts, the long bus ride chats, the film sessions, the heart to hearts, the competition, the love and passion players bring to the court, watching the girls grow in their skills and as young women, but most of all I will miss just being these girl’s coach. I hope they take away half the amount of lessons that they’ve taught me.

Tough loss for our neighbors Mountain Island Charter. They lost the 1A State Championship to East Wake Academy in 4 sets. The last 2 sets were phenomenal VB! Congrats to Coach Seidel and his team. This is the first trip to States for any MICS team.
