Photo Run Journal 10/06/20. Been “Intuitive running”, and it’s brought me back to a very beautiful state. I rarely ever look at my watch for pacing anymore. I let my mind completely wander. I make a left turn if I want or a right turn, and don’t even care where it takes me or how far. It’s my zen!

Photo run journal 10/01/20 - Been waking up early to run which means getting to run to the sun rising. This is an image from my run this morning when I thought that the orange moon between the buildings, was the sun. And then, realized that all the smoke from wildfires in the air out here in Colorado is what was making the moon orange and the sun was rising behind me. Also, wanted to share this little fairy menagerie box that I recently discovered. :

When I find myself getting angsty about all this COVID crap or feeling not in control of my life, I go run. It always sets me straight and humbles me. My runs aren’t always in serene picturesque places but wherever it is, it’s an outlet nonetheless. Sometimes during my entire run I’ll grapple between being T’d off but then reasoning with myself to be grateful. In some ways it’s my addiction. 🤷🏻‍♀️
