Intramural Sports:
Since 1927, Intramurals have been an integral part of the Pioneer experience at DU. Join or create your own team and compete against other DU students/faculty/staff on campus! Club Sports:
University of Denver Club Sports is the largest and most dynamic student organization on campus! Club Sports bridges the gap between Intramurals and intercollegiate athletics by providing comp
etition at specialized levels, participation in tournaments, and opportunities to practice. Each club sport is student-run and provides opportunities for leadership, budget development, and service for students. What's the difference between Intramural Sports and Club Sports? Intramural Sports offers recreational opportunities for all levels of play. Games are typically once a week, on campus, and at little cost. Club Sports provides a more competitive, structured environment for students looking for more involvement in their sport of choice. Team practice 1-5 times a week and compete locally, regionally, and oftentimes nationally. Teams gain the valuable experience of fundraising, which helps offset the costs of competition and travel.
