Open Road Outfitter is a locally-owned retailer selling rooftop tents, bike and ski racks, cargo boxes and other outdoor equipment for vehicles. We are seeking a Full and Part-Time Retail Sales Associates to become an integral part of our team! This is an excellent opportunity to join Colorado's booming outdoor industry. You will be responsible for selling and installing merchandise and services in a fast-paced retail setting. Other responsibilities will include used equipment repair, vehicle rack installations, customer interaction and online postings.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and assist them with purchases and rentals
- Vehicle rack installations
- Explain products and services to customers both in person and on the phone
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Enter and process customer orders
- Investigate and resolve customer issues

Qualifications:
- basic mechanical skills and solid understanding of hand tools. ability to learn basic equipment repair
- Willingness and ability to learn custom racks
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or outdoor gear related field a plus
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Must pass background check.
