Our Story

Mile High Quidditch Club, formerly known as The Denver Dementors, were founded in 2011, following a mass breakout from Azkaban. In order to keep the prisoners from rioting or attempting another escape, the Ministry of Magic ruled that it was in the public interest for the inmates to have an outlet for their pent up energy, aggression, and bloodlust. However, since all inmates at Azkaban have suppression charms on their magic, it was unanimously decided that they would play Muggle Quidditch. The team is comprised of a motley crew of former Death Eaters, Dark creatures, and the sadistically insane, who all take great pride in their work. The constant drilling keeps them ready for the inevitable return of Lord Voldemort. Coming from a strong opening at the Northern Colorado Cup, the Denver Dementors now seek to conquer the rest of the Quidditch playing world. Feel free to stop by for a practice. They probably won't steal your soul. Those interested in joining should show up to City Park in Denver on Sundays at 5pm by the MLK roundabout. 17th and Espalande. Feel free to ask questions!
