Welcome to Affinity Basketball Club, designed for kids who are passionate about basketball and eager to develop their skills! Our program is all about putting the focus on individual player development in a group setting. We believe that the key to becoming a great basketball player is not done during games, but rather in the preparations for games while honing your skills through targeted practice and training. Our coaches are ex-professionals and provide a level of experience that can be instantly used to get better. We provide a supportive and nurturing environment where kids can freely practice their newly developed skills without fear of being scolded. In addition, we provide each player with a daily workout plan they can do on their own outside of practice, so they can continue to improve even when they're not with us. And we ensure the improvement process is moving forward!

We are currently searching for.

6 sophomores
6 freshman
6 8th grader
6 7th graders
6 6th graders

We practice twice a week Tuesday/Thursday
We will participate in AAU tournaments every other weekend
We will hold guided scrimmages every other weekend to truly practice for the tournaments a
We will provide daily workouts< 30 min> and require the kids to complete

*you pay/ you play *
In gameplay no kid will sit on the bench the entire game, all kids will play in the game and be given the opportunity to practice in-game skills and mentality

MEET YOUR COACH

BRIAN HOLLAND

Brian Holland is a former American professional basketball player in Barcelona. Born in Denver Colorado on March 25, 1991, Brian traveled through Europe in search of an opportunity to play 5 years after thinking his days of playing competitively had come to an end with his sophomore season at California Lutheran University.

Brian played two seasons with CB Sant Josep in Badalona, Catalunya. His first season with the team was played in Copa Catalunya. He helped Sant Josep to a 26-4 record, finishing second place and promotion to the next league. His second season was with the same club, playing in Liga EBA.

After the second season, Brian returned to Colorado and decided it was time to begin his ''Life After Basketball.'' This includes starting Affinity Basketball Club with former teammate and training partner in Europe, Chris Hortman.

More of Brian's stories can be heard on The AmbCatShow, a podcast he started in the spring of 2022. Brian is an Astrologer, studying with his astrology teacher and mentor, former NFL legend, Ricky Williams.

MEET YOUR COACH

CHRISTOPHER HORTMAN

Chris Hortman is a former American professional basketball player who was born on September 13, 1988, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He began his basketball career playing for the junior college team at Milwaukee Area Technical College before transferring to the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he played basketball. He was known for his scoring ability and athleticism while playing for Wisconsin-Stout.

After college, Hortman signed eight professional contracts in several countries, including Germany, Austria, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Kosovo. Additionally, he is a basketball enthusiast who loves sharing his experience through guiding kids in their basketball journey. He started his own basketball academy and kids AAU team after retiring from playing professionally.

Our shoot 360 event was a success , we were able to make a lot of shots and build on our knowledge on how to make more... Can't wait for our next shooting event .. great work on all who participated!!!
