"For the Sake of What" means understanding the deeper purpose behind practices. 🌟 It’s not about getting every step perfect but about knowing how the practice is supporting you and how you want to be responding, acting, and showing up.

Whether it’s a centering exercise or a walk, focus on bringing openness and connection. 💫 How does this practice connect to what truly matters to you? By being intentional, we find more meaning in our actions and their impact.

In somatics, it’s about the “how” am I doing it and “what” am I doing, not the “why” am I doing it. So how does your meditation practice or daily walk support you in returning to your values and principles? 💖✨

Today's session was a heartwarming experience. Grateful to everyone who joined me in saying "yes" to ourselves and our inner child. From a young age, we internalize both tender and heartbreaking messages about ourselves and others. Reconnecting with our inner child can be a healing process, particularly when it comes to racialized narratives. There are many ways to support this journey, including meditation, parts work, coaching/therapy, podcasts, and creative processes like writing, singing, and digital storytelling.
