2024 came for our dogs. 2025 came for our humans. So after a 6 month mental and physical health - maternity leave - hiatus it was great to have a practice all together. The new human and puppy additions were fantastic. With a pretty separated group of veterans and youngsters the goals are pretty simple this year. We're going to enjoy our time with the veterans. And we're going to finish training up some silly goobers of the next generation. Can't wait to see everyone in the lanes!

Hef gets an attendance honorable mention 😅 He wasn't near enough to a title so we pulled him lots to get some points on everyone else. He was sassy and playful as ever regardless. He ran for Kim while I helped Poppy get going and didn't miss a beat.

Sarge was Kayla's first flyball pup and she had to say goodbye to him shortly after this tournament. Altitude kindly squeezed in time for him to get one last heat in hearing the end was near. His body was tired, but his mind was still happy as could be to come get love and donuts from everyone. Thanks for giving him a fantastic last tournament day Region 19 ❤️

Awen and Schatzi attended mat time. I don't think either made any revelations but the wild third borns had fun and might make us proud some day. If nothing else they'll teach their handlers a few hundred lessons in patience.

And last but certainly not least, Ohso pup got 30,000 points on Sunday. He was also the silliest I've seen him outside the ring simply happy to play with his friends. I'm so proud of Ohso and his mom. I personally drove down to their property years ago to get them started long before we had a club. Kim is an amazing trainer and absolutely soared with him. I'm so glad it came full circle he'll get to finish his career out with us. Congrats buddy!

Ouija hit 15,000 points with us Saturday morning! We borrowed her from Minnesota and she fit right in. Clearly she's done some amazing running back home, but we're happy to have been part of a small chapter in her career. Thanks for running with us ladies. We can't wait to see ya again in August ❤️

Saren to hit 10,000 points Sunday in the last race, as always keeping us on our toes! This girl was on fire all weekend looking the steadiest she's been since the her accident. She was so amped she lost a tooth tugging 🤦🏻‍♀️ She was back to low 4s and proved again start to be her absolute favorite. Being the first FM trained dog it just makes my heart happy to see how much fun these gals have playing together. Congrats ladies!

Moving down the order in titles Virga gal hit her 2,500 points Sunday! More importantly, she used her brain and decided to run the way we know she can. She absolutely loves the racing in anchor and was having a blast trying to beat some of the pups. We are so excited to watch the rest of her career. The boys love our sassy little addition to the club. Well done ladies!

Our little club had such an amazing weekend there's too much for one post I think! We saw so many titles and small accomplishments for each pup it's going to be hard to match the high we all felt as a club any time soon.

Topping in excitement was getting to debut Poppy. She only recently put all the pieces together so we weren't sure if it would be best for her to start more than a warmup. And she proved us so very wrong. Her focus was on point. You'd never know we had to close all the ball buckets and hide shaggers once upon a time training her up. We love our little Pop Star and are so proud of her and her dad for a beautiful debut ❤️

What a weekend back in the lanes it was! FM was all over the place and Saturday morning looked grim. Luckily we pulled it back together to finish the day out nicely and not having to scratch. Waylon and Saren were rockstars double running Saturday for us. Thank you wild children for holding it together. We definitely lost that multi division but I think squeaked out a second place in open.

Sunday we dropped down to a slower open team and it was just what we needed. We humans and dogs were all feeling Saturday. Except Hef who ended up our perkiest dog of the weekend throwing up many mid 4s for us 🤷‍♀️ he hasn't consistently done that in years so doing it at 8 years old was a bit nuts. It helped us pull out a first place win in that division. Thanks kid!

We welcomed Kayla who moved here from the western slope and brought some more wild herding pups 🤪 apparently we have a flavor in this bunch. Virga got measured in as a height dog for us and we're excited to take on the work of another bitchy herdy female in the club.

Our green dog time after racing blew by and I'm thrilled with the progress our new folks and dogs are making. I think we'll be adding another toller scream to the lanes this fall. You're welcome Region 19!

Thanks so much to RUFF for all your hard work. We love this venue and tournament so much. See you all to do it again in a few weeks!
