Last weekend, the Oso Adventure Meals team had the honor of joining the Path Ahead Ventures Founders Annual Summit in Atlanta, Georgia — and what an incredible experience it was! There were 45 incredible outdoor founders of color at the summit for three days! So much learning but also, most importantly, so much adventure and relationship building! 👏🏼
The Summit brought together founders from across the country who are building purpose-driven brands in the outdoor industry. Being surrounded by so many passionate and innovative leaders reminded us that entrepreneurship is a journey with both peaks and valleys — and that community makes all the difference along the way.
From sessions on collaboration, sustainability, and redefining growth, to honest conversations about how founders of color can leverage technology and storytelling, the weekend was packed with inspiration and learning. We were especially proud of our co-founder for co-facilitating the “Talk Less, Reflect More” session with the incredible .y.terrones , a chance for founders to pause, reconnect with their “why,” and share space for reflection.
We also loved reconnecting with friends like Pooja N and Rutwij Devashrayee from , and even got to kayak the Chattahoochee River — proof that joy, learning, and community can all flow together in this work.
A huge thank-you to REI Path Ahead Ventures for creating a truly founder-led space where authenticity and collaboration took center stage. So much gratitude to Yvonne Leow, Dan Kihanya , Jessika Agyepong, walther, and Keenan Corrigan for putting together such an incredible space!
As we head into an exciting production phase for Oso Adventure Meals, that weekend was a powerful reminder to slow down, reflect, and keep betting on ourselves and our mission. We can’t wait to share what’s next — and for you all to try our new meals soon!
