This is a hard one to post. I don't need to tell you that this year has been hard for ALOT of people!
This year I have been majorly sick two times, had surgery, and couldn't teach my exercise classes for nearly five months due to the shutdown. To say I packed on the pounds was an understatement.
This was hard for me because I am a personal trainer and this "shouldn't happen to me." But, I'm going to be real and it happened. Oh boy, did it happen. During this past year, I reached my heaviest weight in my life.
I decided a month ago something needed to change or how were my clients ever going to look up to me if I wasn't putting in the work too? I joined a Diet Bet. I bet on myself that I could lose 4% of my body weight in 4 weeks and I did it! I put in the work, dialed in my nutrition, and stopped beating myself up for "failing."
I want to help you too! I want you to find an exercise routine that you love doing. I want you to realize you don't have to go on an extreme diet to lose weight. And most importantly I want you to stop beating yourself up for not reaching the unrealistic standards that we put on ourselves.
