One of my easiest go to snacks! An apple and peanut butter yogurt dip. 🍎

For dip: mix 1/2 cup of your favorite nut butter and 1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt. This usually lasts me for about 6 apples. Perfect for meal prep!

I promise you, you won't be able to eat an apple any other way after trying this!

I lifted for the first time in over a month today. I have fallen of my lifting routine lately. I could throw out every excuse in the book, but in all honesty I just haven't felt like it 🀷 I could sit here and beat myself up about it or I could move on.

That's the great thing about this healthy lifestyle. There is no end date, but there is always a new day. You can always start fresh tomorrow, next week or next month. But why wait? Start today!

Have you been waiting to workout for a dozen Mondays or telling yourself you are going to get through the holidays and then start exercising? Or have you been waiting for the "right time" to start eating healthy? Are you waiting for some sort of sign?

Stop putting your health off for the right time. There will never be a perfect time.

Don't wait until Monday or the New Year. Get started today! Your desire for some sort of sign, is the sign!

This is a hard one to post. I don't need to tell you that this year has been hard for ALOT of people!

This year I have been majorly sick two times, had surgery, and couldn't teach my exercise classes for nearly five months due to the shutdown. To say I packed on the pounds was an understatement.

This was hard for me because I am a personal trainer and this "shouldn't happen to me." But, I'm going to be real and it happened. Oh boy, did it happen. During this past year, I reached my heaviest weight in my life.

I decided a month ago something needed to change or how were my clients ever going to look up to me if I wasn't putting in the work too? I joined a Diet Bet. I bet on myself that I could lose 4% of my body weight in 4 weeks and I did it! I put in the work, dialed in my nutrition, and stopped beating myself up for "failing."

I want to help you too! I want you to find an exercise routine that you love doing. I want you to realize you don't have to go on an extreme diet to lose weight. And most importantly I want you to stop beating yourself up for not reaching the unrealistic standards that we put on ourselves.
