There are a lot of people who start.

A lot of people who are motivated for a week.
A lot of people who show up when it’s convenient.
A lot of people who quit when life gets hard.

But 1,000 sessions isn’t built on motivation.

It’s built on early mornings, busy schedules, sore muscles, long days, setbacks, comebacks, and choosing to show up anyway.

Today we celebrate Cheryl and an incredible milestone: 1,000 sessions at Resolute Fitness.

What makes this achievement special isn’t just the number. It’s the consistency, determination, and commitment behind every single one of those check-ins.

We’re proud of the strength you’ve built, the example you’ve set, and the person you’ve become along the way.

The Whistle Stop in the Antique Village has strawberry shortcake cinnamon rolls today…

…and Richard Simmons has completely lost his mind.

We cannot confirm whether he sprinted across the street or simply appeared next to the pastry through the power of enthusiasm.

What we can confirm is that these things are ridiculous.

If you’re headed to Resolute today, do yourself a favor and stop by The Whistle Stop. Life is too short to skip the strawberry shortcake cinnamon roll.

And before anyone asks… yes, you can be serious about your goals and still enjoy a cinnamon roll. Fitness should help you build a life you enjoy, not trap you in a lettuce-and-regret prison. One treat doesn’t derail progress any more than one workout creates it.

Your body just survived Murph. It does not want a single almond and a motivational quote. It wants fuel.

Carbs after a workout help replenish glycogen, support recovery, and help you avoid moving like a haunted folding chair for the next 48 hours.

So yes, sometimes recovery looks like protein and half a loaf of banana nut bread inhaled in a parking lot with the emotional intensity of a woodland creature before winter.

Fitness should add to your life, not trap you in chicken-and-rice prison forever. Balance matters too. 💛

Today’s workout was brought to you by the quote, “stop being a lil b**** and come on!”

Some ran.
Some walked.
Some scaled.
Some questioned every life decision halfway through.

But every single person showed up and finished. That’s the part that matters.

Today’s yoga playlist was… plant wave. 🌿📡

Not spa music.
Not whale noises.
Just leaves out here photosynthesizing over soft frequencies while we stretched, breathed, slowed down, and let our nervous systems unclench for a minute.

Functional strength matters. Recovery matters too.

Your body wasn’t built to live in fight-or-flight 24/7. Sometimes growth looks like heavy lifts. Sometimes it looks like deep breaths on a mat while a pothos plant quietly DJs the room like a tiny forest wizard.

Movement should help you feel stronger for life outside the gym.
Today did exactly that. 🌱
