Happy Saturday Rebels

Easter is just a day away. What better time to reflect.

I told you all we had a new challenge coming. Well here it is.

30-Day Self-Reflection Challenge

Let’s get stronger on the inside while we get stronger on the outside. This 30-day challenge will help you build better mental toughness and self-awareness — just like we build our legs and lungs on the ruck.

How it works:
• Takes 10–15 minutes per day
• Do it every day for 30 days
• Use a notebook or your phone notes

Daily work (Every single day)
Every evening, answer these 3 questions:
1. What went well today? (A good ruck, strong effort, hitting your pace, feeling tough — anything positive)
2. What challenged me today, and how did I respond? (Heavy pack, bad weather, wanting to quit, soreness, bad mood — how did you handle it?)
3. What is one thing I learned about myself today? (Even something small — “I push harder when others are watching” or “I make excuses when I’m tired”)

Weekly Deep Takes (Do these on Days 7, 14, 21, and 28)
Take a little extra time on these days:

Week 1 – Who I Am
• Who am I when no one is watching on the trail or in gym?
• What are my top 5 values? (Example: discipline, toughness, family, growth, respect)
• Where am I not living up to those values?

Week 2 – My Habits
• Looking back at my daily notes, what patterns do I see?
• Which habits help my work, fitness , life and which ones hurt it?
• What is ONE habit I want to change?

Week 3 – People & Team

• How do I show up for my buddies?
• Where do I need better boundaries or better attitude?
• Who in the club (or in my life) pushes me to be better?
Week 4 – Where I’m Going

• What would the strong, 80-year-old version of me be proud I’m doing right now?

• If I could train any way I wanted, how would I ruck and live?

• What is the ONE thing I’m committing to improve next month?

Quick Tips for you Rebels

• Keep it honest — no sugarcoating. Mental toughness starts with truth.

• Miss a day? Just pick up the next day. No guilt.

• On Day 30, read everything you wrote and celebrate how far you’ve come.

This challenge will make you mentally sharper and tougher — exactly what we want in the ruck club.

Let’s do this together.

Tuesday Rebel Ruck Check-In 💪🪖

Tuesday hits different when you’re a Rebel.

The weekend high is gone. The couch is calling. Your brain is already negotiating: “Maybe tomorrow… maybe the next…”

Nah. Not us.

We don’t negotiate with weakness. We load the ruck, lace up, and step out anyway. Because every stride with weight on your back is a quiet rebellion against average. Every hill you conquer before the sun’s fully up is proof you’re built different. Long day at work? Who cares? The ruck doesn’t!!

This isn’t about feeling motivated.
It’s about showing up when motivation ghosted you.
So grab that pack, Rebels.
Shoulders back. Chest proud.
One foot in front of the other.
The discomfort you feel right now?
That’s just the price of becoming unbreakable.
Who’s rucking today? Drop a 🔥 or tag your battle buddy below. Let’s see those packs moving.
Rebel Rucking Athletic Club – we don’t wait for perfect days.
We make Tuesdays legendary.
Go earn it.

Keep doing thise push ups and
Moving forward

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, Rebels!

Hope you’re all geared up for the big game tonight—should be a classic.

Quick catch-up on what we’ve been crushing lately:

That Overnight Ruck was epic. Perfect weather, solid crew. We kicked off with 8 Rebels marching 8 miles to Sanford. Three tapped out there, but 5 powered through the return trip to DeBary for a full 16 miles. Then two absolute machines kept going and finished the night with 26.3 miles in just over 11 hours. Unreal effort. Already looking forward to next year’s overnight—it’s gonna be even bigger.

On the 31st we had massive turnout for MeStrong. Runners, ruckers, supporters—everyone showed up strong for an awesome cause. Proud of the Rebels representing.

Yesterday a few of us headed to Lakeland for the Nighthawk 15K challenge. Killer night trail run. Javi crushed the 10K ruck—beast mode.

Next up: Love Your Heart 5K/10K in Deltona on 2-22-26. Family-friendly event, great cause (American Heart Association), right here at home. Come run, ruck, walk, or just cheer—let’s make it another big Rebel showing.

Jump in the private group for monthly challenges, meetups, and all the details.

Keep Moving, stay strong, and enjoy the game tonight! 💪🏈

Happy Monday, Rebels! 🌞

Let’s kick off the week by sharing the epic adventures from your weekend—what did you crush?

I wrapped up Saturday with the AdventHealth Moonlight Beach Run 15K Bandshell Challenge in Daytona Beach. What an awesome event! (It was that perfect sunset-to-moonlight vibe on the World’s Most Famous Beach.) Aside from a little mix-up that had some folks adding an extra mile detour off the boardwalk to reach the start corral, everything else was spot-on. Classic Florida weather made it an ideal beach day—starting right on the sand and finishing inside the iconic Bandshell with the ocean breeze? Definitely putting this one back on the calendar for next year! 🏖️🏃‍♂️🌙
(Quick shoutout to the hard-packed sand course—fast, scenic, and super fun under the lights!)

Now, only 4 more days until our 1st annual 12-hour ruck! Florida’s weather is doing its classic bipolar thing—looks like Friday night into Saturday could turn chilly for us Southerners (think cooler temps dropping after dark, so bundle up!). Layers are your friend—you can always peel them off once you get moving. Can’t wait to see all you crazies out there racking up miles under the stars. What better way to launch the weekend? ⭐💪

Got big plans this week? Drop ‘em below—let’s hear the highlights!

Want to join the crew and get in on the fun? Hop into our private group!

Monthly challenge: Squats are in full swing—keep stacking those reps!

Keep it moving, Rebels!
Cheers,

Happy Friday, Rebels! 🌟

First full week back after the holidays — and yeah, work can get pretty wild. No need to stress though… just keep the momentum going! 💪
With a couple of late nights this week, I had to skip a few scheduled runs. But hey, check this out — I’m blessed to rack up serious steps just hustling around at work. Instead of beating myself up over the missed sessions, I’m flipping the script and getting pumped for tomorrow’s moonlight beach run in Daytona on fresh legs 😅🌙🏖️
Here are a few vibes from the Asian Lantern Light Festival. I did manage to make it out for some amazing sights with 50 lb ruck.

And speaking of keeping it moving… don’t forget those squats!

Always remember: perspective is everything. Shift it, own it, and keep crushing it.
Hope to see a bunch of you Rebels out there under the moonlight tomorrow! Let’s make it epic.
Let’s Goooo! 🚀🏃‍♂️🌊

Happy Tuesday, Rebels!

Hope you all crushed the weekend and did something epic. You know we did! We hit the Black Bear Wilderness Trail Rebel-style: 7.1 miles in full ruck mode. Then on Sunday, we added 2 more rucked miles plus our weekly 55-minute Sunday beatdown—20 rounds of 2:00 work zones with just 20 seconds rest. That one really gets the heart pumping!

Just 10 days until our 12-hour ruck—can’t wait to be out under the stars with a few of you legends. It’s going to be absolutely epic.

Let’s keep the momentum rolling this week:
• Tonight: Intervals
• Tomorrow: Sleds
• Thursday: Ruck at the Asian Lantern Festival in Sanford (no better way to light up the night!)

Saturday, I hope to see some of you at the Moonlight Run in Daytona—I’ll be tackling the 15K.

And don’t forget: Get those monthly squats done!

Keep moving, Rebels.

Cheers,
Gregor

Happy Monday, Rebels!

Hope you all had an incredible holiday weekend. If you crushed something epic—share it! Drop those pics in the comments below.

First off, a huge shoutout to the O-Town Blazers, our local running crew here in town. They put on their annual free, self-supported ultra: choose your adventure with 50K, 41K, or 18K options. It had been 13 months since my last 50K, with my longest run in that stretch just 14 miles… so of course, I went straight for the 50K. 😅
What drew me in was the location—one of my all-time favorite trail networks starting at the Barr Street Trailhead in Oviedo.

I spotted the event online, joined their group, and everything was flawlessly organized. Two perfect trail loops right by the parking lot for refueling, and the route took us through scenic sections I’d somehow missed after hundreds of runs there—including that hidden “chapel on a lake.” 😉 (IYKYK)
The organizers even handed out these cool wooden tokens to mark the year. Highly recommend jumping in next time—great event with even better people.

Now, about the run itself… yeah, it didn’t go smoothly. I knew the wheels would come off eventually with that training gap, and I was totally fine with it heading in.
Grateful for the awesome runners who hung back with me for the first 18 miles—solid company! But around then, I felt the wall approaching, so I waved them on. No need for anyone to babysit my slow pace. 🤣
Miles 18-22 turned into a run-walk shuffle (mostly walk). By 23, my calves and feet were protesting the trail terrain big time. Plenty of chances to bail, including one final pass by the car… but in true rebel fashion, I pushed on and hiked the last 7-ish miles.
Slow as hell, but I finished—or so I thought. Only when I was in the truck heading home did I check my watch: 31 miles. One mile short of the full 50K. 🤦‍♂️ At least I bagged a solid marathon distance! 😆
I knew my base wasn’t there yet, but here’s the takeaway: If you wait until you’re fully “ready” for everything, you’ll probably end up doing nothing. Just take that first step. Keep moving forward. That’s where real growth happens—in rucking, running, and life.

(Pro tip for next time: Fuel up with some plain cooked sweet potatoes along the way—great natural energy for you and your four-legged trail buddies!)

Let’s charge into the New Year already in motion.
Nothing stops us when we keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Cheers, Gregor

Merry Christmas, Rebels! 🎄

In just a few hours, we’ll be gathering with family and friends, filling our homes with laughter, maybe a few happy tears, and way too much delicious food (totally worth it!).

Take this time to truly enjoy it all. Let the couch pull you in for some well-deserved binge-watching of your favorite shows—it’s the perfect way to unwind after the holiday rush. But here’s the key: relax, recharge, and don’t go completely stationary. Find little ways to keep moving—go for a family walk to admire the Christmas lights, take the kids to the park, hop on a bike ride, or even crank up some Wii dance parties.
By all means, rest up… but keep that momentum alive!

Wishing you all a wonderful, joyful Merry Christmas.

We’re looking forward to crushing those miles together once the holidays wind down.

Cheers,
Gregor

Happy Sunday, Rebels!

With Christmas just days away, I hope you’re powering through these final days strong and not letting the holiday chaos throw off your momentum.

Here at Rebel Rucking, we’re closing out the month with serious energy. After last weekend’s epic adventures, we kept the momentum rolling this weekend.

We crushed an awesome 8-mile ruck with the Sanford Ruck Club, Orlando Ruck Club, and fellow clubs from around the area—all coming together for a crisp morning trek along the historic clay road in Clermont before it gets swallowed up by new development.

Then this morning, we kept the legs pumping with the Deltona Jingle Jog 5K—rucked the whole way, of course, for that extra holiday spirit!

Whatever you’re up to today, tomorrow, or the rest of the week, remember this: You are enough. You can do it! Just keep moving.

Want to join in on the fun? Drop a comment and I’ll add you to our free private group. Find out what events we will be at, what, when and where the workouts will be, and come see us. Let’s get stronger together!

Cheers Gregor
