Big smiles, high ropes, and zero limits! ☀️🧗‍♂️

Today’s Summer Camp field trip was an absolute blast! From conquering the high obstacle courses to racing bumper cars and bouncing until we couldn't anymore, our campers brought 100% energy to every single challenge. 🏎️💥

That’s the magic of our Summer Camp: we build confidence, teamwork, and independence, all wrapped up in the most epic adventures. Seeing them encourage each other and face new heights with a smile is what it’s all about!

Memoria unlocked, fears conquered, and a whole lot of fun.

👇 PARENTS: Drop a Emoji that describes your camper's energy level right now! 😂👇 And let us know—what was the first story they told you when they got in the car?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words... but these smiles and energy say it all! 😂🦈

Teaching discipline is also about teaching how to enjoy the moment with respect and camaraderie. Safe to say, our students nailed it!

100% energy, total focus, and a whole lot of laughs. That’s what our community is all about!

Jace is probably the most athletic little human I know. 😅
A kid with talent somehow bigger than his actual size.

But behind all that speed, explosiveness, and personality… there’s also a little warrior who learned very early how to protect his heart.

Sometimes when a child grows up feeling certain emptinesses he cannot fully explain, he builds armor without even realizing it. An attitude. A strong character. Reactions that make people think he’s just being difficult.

But I’ve never only seen that side of you.

What many people call disrespect… I often see as fear. Fear of being hurt. Fear of not feeling chosen. Fear of abandonment living quietly inside a young heart still trying to understand itself.

And little by little, not all at once, I’ve gotten to know the caring, loving kid underneath that armor.

And that kid has a really beautiful heart.

You are deeply loved, Jace. More than you probably realize. By a mother and a stepfather who constantly move the world around you just to make sure you feel that love every single day.

Life is still teaching you how to trust, how to handle those emotions, and how to turn that fire inside you into strength instead of defense.

And honestly… I’ve already seen you growing.

Not perfectly.
Not instantly.
But genuinely.

I’ll always be here for you, Jace. Even if one day you never do karate again hahaha… and even if I still secretly hate soccer. ⚽😅

Proud of the young man you are becoming.

Keep practicing kindness.
Keep learning to believe that people can truly love you without leaving.

Because real strength is not only learning how to fight…

It’s learning how to let your heart feel safe again.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another.”

Spencer has always been someone with real talent. But sometimes the hardest battle is not against an opponent… it’s against the doubts living inside your own mind.

And honestly, our relationship didn’t exactly start smoothly. 😅
You and your cousin, John Tayler, were some of the biggest challenges I faced during the beginning of my career at Chophouse.

But with time, something changed.

We grew closer.
And little by little, there were moments where I could pull you out of that vicious cycle of being too hard on yourself.

Those moments… more than medals or victories… made me proud. 🥲

Because despite all the doubts and internal battles, you still kept showing up.

You kept fighting.
You kept trying.
You kept moving forward even on the days where your own mind made the journey harder.

Then life brought important decisions. Decisions that would shape your future. And I’m proud to say you made the right ones.

Even though I no longer have the privilege of seeing you as often, I want you to know something clearly:

I am proud of the young man you are becoming.
And not just me… all of us are.

Because growth is not only measured by trophies or victories. Sometimes growth is choosing the right path even when life gives you every reason to get lost.

Keep believing in yourself, Spencer.
Your potential has always been bigger than your fears.

And no matter where life takes you, know that you will always have a friend and instructor in me. ❤️

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Dazel… even if I never learn how to spell your name correctly hahaha 😅

I know you.

I see your eyes, and I understand your fears. You are an incredibly intelligent kid with a big personality and an even bigger future ahead of you.

And from the very beginning, there was always something special about you. So much so that in your very first tournament, you won a Grand Championship… and ever since then, you haven’t stopped.

But sometimes being loved and protected so much can make it harder to accept responsibility for our own choices. And at your age, that can lead to mistakes, frustration, and difficult moments.

But what stands out to me the most is this:

Your willpower is strong.

No matter how many times things go wrong, there is still something inside you that keeps trying again. And I want you to know that I’ll be there to help you back up every single time you fall.

Because I truly believe you have the talent to achieve your goals in karate… and far beyond karate too.

Keep dreaming.
Stay disciplined.
Stay humble.

And instead of looking for blame outside of yourself, focus on the things YOU can improve. That is where real growth begins.

Love you, little man.
Proud of the young warrior you are becoming. 🥋🔥

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms. 🌸

Thank you for every silent sacrifice, every hug on the hard days, every prayer, every sleepless night, and every battle you fight for your children without asking for recognition.

Behind every strong child… there is almost always an even stronger mother.

Today we celebrate your love, your patience, your strength, and everything you do even when no one else sees it.

May God bless your lives and remind you how deeply valuable you are. 💖

Watching Lucca grow through karate has been a journey. He started all the way back in the Tiny Tigers classes, and from day one he was basically a tiny earthquake… and over the years he somehow just became a slightly taller earthquake. Not by much though. 😅

But behind all that energy, I’ve watched something incredible happen.

Little by little, I’ve seen you conquer your internal battles.
I’ve seen you fight frustration, doubt, and moments where quitting felt easier.

And yes, many times you’ve had to face challenges as the smallest in your division. But this year, you discovered something important: size does not define how dangerous an intelligent warrior can become. While others depend on strength or height, you learned how to adapt, think faster, and find solutions many people never see.

That is a powerful gift.

And beyond karate, I truly believe your future is limitless. Whether one day you become a doctor, engineer, police officer, or anything else life calls you to be… I know you will do it with the same heart and determination you bring to the dojo.

Lucca, I’ll always be here for you.
No matter how tall you get.

Proud of the young man you are becoming.

“For God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power and love and self-control.”

Some warriors are naturally gifted.Others become powerful because they refuse to quit.

When I first met Jacob Scott,” beast” many people outside only saw limitations. They questioned his coordination, his talent, his ability to keep up.

But I saw something different.

I saw a heart on fire.A young man who kept showing up.Someone who, no matter how difficult the road felt, still wanted to keep moving forward.

So I made a decision a long time ago:I was going to give that fire time to grow.

And today, many people who see you now could never imagine the battles you’ve already overcome to stand where you are.

Life has asked you to grow strong in ways most kids your age will never fully understand. Yet through every challenge, every frustrating moment, and every obstacle… you kept going.

That is a rare kind of strength.

Because sometimes the greatest superpower is not talent.

Sometimes it is simply refusing to give up.

Proud of the warrior you are becoming, Jacob. Your journey is proof that resilience can take someone farther than anyone expects.
