Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who make a difference every single day.

In martial arts, we often talk about leadership, discipline, courage, and respect. For many of our students, those lessons begin long before they ever step onto the mat. They begin at home with a dad who leads by example, offers encouragement when things get tough, and helps shape the person they will become.

Thank you to all of the dads who drive to class, cheer from the sidelines, help tie belts, practice at home, and support their children’s journey every step of the way.

Your impact reaches far beyond the dojo.

📢 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Many of you have probably noticed Sensei Jeremy taking on a larger role around the school over the past several months. Today, we’re excited to make it official!

Sensei Jeremy has been named the Acting General Manager of Deltona Martial Arts Center.

In this role, he will continue working closely with our students and families while helping oversee the day-to-day operations of the school. Whether you have questions about classes, summer camp, after-school care, events, scheduling, or anything else related to the academy, Sensei Jeremy is your go-to person.

We’re excited for this next chapter and look forward to continuing to serve our community with the same dedication, leadership, and commitment that you’ve come to expect.

We’re excited to announce that we are finally able to move to a more consistent class schedule on both of our training days. As our summer schedule opens up, this change will help make classes easier for families to follow and create a smoother experience for all students.

📅 NEW SUMMER SCHEDULE
Mondays & Wednesdays

🐉 Junior Dragons: 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM
🥋 Beginners: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
🔥 Advanced: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Both days will now follow the exact same class schedule!

Today we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we have every day. 🇺🇸

We hope everyone has had a safe and meaningful Memorial Day with family and friends.

Reminder that classes will resume as scheduled this evening at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the mats tonight! 🥋

Great coaches don’t just stand on the sidelines — they step onto the mats, put in the work, and lead from the front.

Sensei Jeremy competes alongside the rest of the team at every event. Leadership is earned through action, discipline, and example. A strong team is built by coaches who sweat, struggle, grow, and push themselves just as hard as their students.
