Thanks to our friends at County of Volusia, children will be able to get free meals at 55 county sites this summer!

Volusia County’s Community Assistance Division is sponsoring a Summer Food Service Program from June 6 through Aug. 12 to provide free breakfast and lunch meals for children ages 18 and under. The program, funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, provides nutritionally balanced meals during summer break when schools are closed.

The following sites will serve meals on weekdays. Children must eat the meals on site.

All sites will be closed July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

Starting this week, the city's weekly Friday Night Food Truck event will be moved to Wes Crile Park at the corner of Norbert Terrace and Ft. Smith Blvd.

Please follow the City of Deltona Social Media pages for additional information on which food trucks will be in attendance.

Additionally, on the second Friday of each month, beginning Friday February 11th, the Food Truck event will be held at The Center at Deltona when Bonkerz Comedy shows are taking place.

Thank you to Deltona TV cameras for catching up with Dr. Rosado at Family Health Source on Deltona Blvd this morning to chat about children's Covid-19 vaccines which have now been approved to be administered.
Staring today (Monday November 8th) Family Health Source will begin offering the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 – 11.
Appointments are not required however should you like to scheduled an appointment, please call 386-202-6025.
