Rip on his latest practice track over the weekend he did great. 16 hrs old 1 distraction. Rip is a nose down kind of dog. You can tell at the end of the track his nose found the hoof not his eyes lol. Ran Ole fletch behind him at 22 hrs on the same line he did good but missed one turn for a restart.

The hounds will be ready to track for the liberty hunt coming in a few weeks. We mainly track Barry kalamazoo and allegan counties since we live on the corner of all 3. Please feel free to call or text anytime. We always hope you never need us but if you do we will do our best to be there. Tracking will be free that weekend within 45 minutes of home. Here is rip on his off lead track. Caught him on my trail cam. He was working fast. To fast for me to keep up. I've never ran him off lead and I kept stopping him for me to catch up. Half way through the track I just let him go and didnt want to hold him back because he was following the line great. He got 150 yards ahead of me almost to the end of the line and did a 180 on the line almost back to me back tracking I was confused. Why didnt he continue he was on it as i was watching my garmin. Come to find out he finished the track and he was laying down 80 yards from me and brought back the hoof. He just decided on his way back it was time for a break and a chew.

Merry Christmas everyone!!! I had a late christmas present myself today. I was hoping to put the hounds on a track but she didnt take a step. Still one happy hunter and thankful to add to the freezer.

When tracking calls slow down we work on putting meat in the freezer.
