What an insane weekend!

Sundays racing was intense. Josh was able to pull out 3 of the 4 holeshots, This clip was just one of them and it was a doozy.

Josh won the first moto of the 50cc open and finished 2nd of the 50cc sr class. He led nearly the entire race, but got passed on the last lap in his slowest section. He rolled all three jumps of the triple and got passed by the other rider who hit the double. Josh was extremely upset and determined to not let it happen again. He went out in the 65cc jr class and figured out how to hit that section and did it.

Next round of motos started and this dude was LOCKED in. He went out and beat his fastest lap time again. Previously his fastest was a 2:06, this race he set a new PR of 2:03 and came out with the overall win in the open class.

The 2nd moto of 50cc sr came with heartbreak and a big win. Josh pulled the holeshot, got passed in the first corner and fought to take it back. Top 3 battled hard for an entire lap. Then the second place rider went down and shortly after Josh did too. They all got right back on and kept battling hard the entire race. On lap 3, Josh broke his PR again! He hit a 1:59! Then on the final lap, Josh went down in the at the bottom of the on one of the last sections of the track. He came out 3rd overall for the class.

Obviously we wanted Josh to sweep the race weekend but for him to get a win and shatter his PR twice in a race weekend is insane. I know we say it a lot, but this kid rides harder and harder each raceday and continues to blow us away by how far hes come.

This weekend was also very hard to see the many injuries that happened. Please keep all the riders and families in your thoughts and prayers, they really need them.

Dont be like us and wait WAY too long (obviously) to get maintenance done. Especially when it comes to something you heavily depend on in your vehicle. Forrest's Garage got us fixed back up and back on the road. They have different payment options you can choose from so you dont need to let your vehicle go and cost you more down the road like we did. Plus they're local; located right down the road off of route 20, and have great technology like the big dealerships to show you bit by bit in their vehicle inspection to show you what is still good, what will need replaced in the near future, and what is needing attention now.

What an awesome weekend at Route 62 Mx Track . Track was amazing both practice and race day. We nervous getting there because we know Josh struggled earlier in the year during qualifiers to learn tracks quickly, but he took 1 sight lap on the 65 and immediately started trying the jumps and hitting lines which was amazing to see. He had a goal for the weekend to finish in the top 10 and we agreed with him. We heard the gates were larger and more competitive than what hes been racing lately and it did not disappoint at all. 26 on the gate for the Sr class and 31 on the gate for the open class.

Moto 1 for the Sr and open class Josh didnt waste any time going out to show he was getting his goal. He finished 9th in both classes and we were incredibly proud. He had a ton of confidence going into the 2nd round.

Moto 2 of the SR class Josh was again running 9th and went down falling back to 12th. He finished the moto in 11th and scored a 10th overall. Josh fell on his front brake lever causing an issue we wouldnt learn about until the open race.

Moto 2 of the open class Josh started out great. He was running in 9th, again, but I noticed his front wheel stopped spinning when he was jumping. Shortly after noticing that, Josh went down hard in a corner. He got back up, fired the bike up, started moving and went down again. Repeated the process 3 times until a track worker stepped in and realized the front wheel was completely seized. Josh ended up with a DNF and scored a 21st overall because of it.

Were still taking the weekend as a total win. Josh hasn't seen gate drops that large in months and he was running the tail at those. Very happy we decided to start running the Buckeye Series. Thank you to everyone who supports Joshua.

The day started out with serious doubt and uncertainty with threats of severe storms forecasted right at the start of the day. Turned out to be beaufitul and a fantastic day of racing.

50cc sr Joshua went 1-2 for first overall!

50cc open Joshua went 3-2 for second overall

Josh rode really well today outside of a few incidents where he went down fighting for spots. Joshua did get a few spots due to on track incidents, but thats part of racing and today he was on the benefiting side of that.

This was the first time in a while that hes been able to ride his 5.1 Gibson scoop tire and it ate every bit of the sand.
