Delta Youth Baseball and Delta Girls Softball Organization have joined together. We would like thank everyone who has volunteered in the past to make these organizations what they are. Going forward we are excited to be working with a new group of volunteers!

Players, Parents, Families, Coaches, and Fans,

Many of you are aware that most members of our recreational league have canceled their summer season. After weighing the pro and cons of the governor's mandatory actions required to play summer baseball, we feel it is best to cancel the 2020 Summer season.

Refunds will be issued as follows:

If you paid by check: your check and registration form will be returned by mail back to the address listed on your registration form.

If you paid by cash: you will receive an email or text within the next 2 weeks with further instructions on your refund.

Please be patient as we are getting refunds out. This is not something we have ever experienced either.

Please stay home, stay safe!

Players, Parents, Families, and Coaches,

The Village has temporarily suspended all summer sporting activities at this time. We will continue to follow the Governor and Village officials closely and follow their recommendations.

After many conversations with other members of our recreational league, we are still hoping to have a summer baseball program. This does mean pushing more dates back to ensure the safety of our players, parents, coaches, families, and fans.

Registration is still open until April 13th. Due to the Village Offices being closed to the public, registration forms can be emailed or mailed to you. Please PM us with your information. Completed forms and payment should be mailed to: Delta Youth Baseball, PO Box 43, Delta, Ohio 43515.

As of right now our season may have to be pushed to the beginning of June. Coaches meetings have not been scheduled yet due to social distancing. These dates are subject to change and we will keep you updated.

Players, Parents, Families, and Coaches,

As we are sure everyone is aware, the governor of the state of Ohio has issued several statements and recommendations to keep Ohio residents safe and to limit the spread of coronavirus-19.

We have carefully reviewed the recommendations and statements issued by the governor as well as looked at what procedures other youth sports organizations have put in place. While we are excited for the baseball season to get underway, our priority is the health and safety of all of our players, coaches, and families.

Registration is still open and will be extended until April 13th. Due to the Village Offices being closed to the public, registration forms can be emailed or mailed to you. Please PM us with your information. Completed forms and payment should be mailed to: Delta Youth Baseball, PO Box 43, Delta, Ohio 43515.

As of right now our season is still scheduled to start in Mid-May. Coaches meetings will be pushed back to allow for the extended registration deadline. These dates are subject to change and we will keep you updated.

Spring is just around the corner and so is baseball season! ⚾️

Sign-ups will be at Memorial Hall on Saturday, March 7th from 10am to 2pm. If you are unable to make sign-ups please mail completed form and payment to: Delta Youth Baseball, PO Box 43, Delta, Ohio 43515.

Forms will be sent home from the Elementary school this week. Forms can also be picked up at the Elementary and middle schools, Memorial Hall, and the Delta public library.

If you’re interested in coaching or volunteering in our concession stands please attend signup and let us know.

Need more baseball? Here's your chance! DYB is trying to organize teams to play fall baseball. The season will start the end of August and end mid-October (No games during Labor Day weekend). Most games will be a double header on Saturday's. 12 - 16 games will be played between Delta, Lucas County Rec Center, Ottawa Lake, MI (more depending on what areas teams come from and field availability). This is open to all kids ages 9-14! Registration forms are availible at the Delta Memorial Hall lobby. We can also email you the form, just send a PM with your email address! Please send form and payment to DYB, PO Box 43, Delta, Ohio 43515 by August 7th.

2019 L.F.H. League tournament. A HUGE thank you to our players, coaches, fans, and volunteers that made the tournement a success!
DYB would like to congratulate Mr. Tim Ricard, Swanton's Youth Baseball Commissioner, on his retirement. Thank you for all you have done for the kids and the league. As Tim says: IT'S FOR THE KIDS!!!
