We try to do one genuine Steel Challenge stage per match, though we are somewhat limited by the length and width of our range. "Pendulum" is one that does fit. Other than the one post leaning over, we measured this out and it is pretty darn close to how the pros do it.

The ground was still a little too wet to run on, but at least we got to shoot today! This stage was a bit of a trap...but it could have been trickier: The stop plate could have been bigger 😜

We really really hate to cancel, especially twice in a row...but...🙄
Today, the ranges were mud soup, with a garnish of wet snow. Even if there was no additional precipitation predicted, it would be pretty reckless to run a match in two days...and there is additional precipitation predicted. :(
Sorry folks. It just isn't worth wrecking up the grounds like that. We're all bummed...I have a new gun I wanted to try out, too.

So...fingers crossed for March 22, when we will be back to our regular 8:00 sign in and 9:00 start times.

Good grief! As if the ground wasn't sloppy enough already!🤦‍♂️ We'll keep watching this, but it does not look encouraging...🙄
