This upcoming Saturday the 5th will be the 3rd 100% payback open on the Wingo. Looks to be a great day weatherwise! Blastoff will be at 6AM.

Weather-80 and cloudy

Congrats to the Cote father and son team for taking the 2nd 100% payback trail open with a bag of 8.81. It was a stingy day for all. Fish were caught but extremely hard to get a solid fish. There 3.61 largemouth was the game changer and also go them Lunker cash. 3rd open is September 5th. Remember you must fish 5 to qualify for free entry into the championship.

Hey guys I am leaning towards cancelling tomorrows #2 open due to predicted weather and rescheduling for Sunday. I will post the final say by 7pm this evening.

Just swung by Glen Cove Marina to speak w Butch. He mentioned that if anyone has work to do on there trailers you can dock your boat at one of his slips free for up to a week.

Weather-80 Cloudy/Rain

Open #1 is in the books and it was a wet one. At times you couldn’t see the other side of the river. Seven teams braved the elements and in the end it was the team of Bennett/Hower who would take home first place (13.55) and Lunker (3.83 smallmouth). Second would go to the team of Weichmann and Chaicosky (12.41) and third was Brown/Over (11.86). Open #2 will take place July 18th.
