I'd like to take this time to introduce ourselves. We are Greg and Tiffany Leininger. We have been married almost 15 years and we have two daughters; Bailey just turned 10 and Autumn is 6. Greg has lived in Delta his whole life. He started Leininger Enterprises Construction company in 1999 and his work can be seen all around NW Ohio. He is also a third generation farmer and co-owner of McCabe Outdoor Power, a Toro outdoor power equipment business in Grand Rapids, Ohio. I (Tiffany) am a graduate of Wauseon and from 2006 to 2015 I was the owner of Jan's Bridal Shop in Delta. For the last year I have been working at McCabe Outdoor Power in the sales and parts departments. We have always been fans of softball and Greg helped to coach his cousin's 14U rec team from Delta in 2011-2012. We got back into the coaching side of the sport we love when our daughter Bailey, started playing 8U rec softball. Greg was offered a coaching position through the FCA softball program in the fall 2019. During that time, we were very fortunate to play softball when so many other programs chose not to play for safety reasons. During the summer of 2020, our team was able to play games 2-3 times a week, with 2 tournaments over the course of the summer season. In January of 2021, we were offered a chance to play for the LC Mavericks, a program practically in our backyard. Greg was an assistant coach during this time, for both the 9U and the 10U teams that Bailey played on. Those coaching experiences have ultimately led to us deciding to take a leap and start the Buckeye Renegades! We felt there was a need for more softball teams of a competitive nature west of Toledo! This is a venture that we often talked about, but never really thought would happen. Once the decision was made to start this team, we knew we were making the right choice. We are really looking forward to this new adventure and can't wait to see what the future holds!!
