DAY 5...

WOW WOW WOW!! My totally amazing attendee and I rode 365 miles yesterday through spectacular mountain curvy road, lit up with golden yellow, and peach colored and quaking Aspen leaves and lakes!

*Over McClure Pass and in to Marble to the lake and on to Carbondale where we saw gorgeous bright red leaves!

*To Aspen for lunch on a more scenic high road through Woody Creek and to Cemetary Lane

*Over Independence Pass (we were on top of the world!)

*By Twin Lakes

*Through Buena Vista and over Cottonwood Pass and by Taylor Lakes Reservoir

*On the road alongside Blue Mesa Lake and through the canyon and over the hills to Delta.

DAY 4 :

*Elk farm, hearing the bulls bugle. We saw one bull who had already shed his antlers and another who had a huge rack still, and several albino elk!

*A fancy ride in a van over The Mesa. We had hail, a minute of snow, and some sunshine. It was in the 40s at the summit, so we were greatful to not be on the Spyders today!

*An afternoon at the famous Applefest

DAY 3....

A fabulous home cooked lunch and by my lovely daughter. Ryde to the lower road at Black Canyon Of The Gunnison and we turned back from going to the canyon overlooks due to a crazy wind/dust storm. We had pure entertainment of lightening bolts in the distance and a fabulous sunset on the way back to town, but thankfully we dodged all the rain!

Then we had a fun evening with dinner and a concert at Big Bs, seeing Phillip-Michael Scales.

DAY 2 - OCTOBER 2, 2025

WE HAD LUNCH WITH ANOTHER FRIEND IN TELLURIDE AT COCINA DE LUZ. I DUBBED IT "THE 3 HOT GRANNY LUNCHEON". IT WAS 85° AND FULL SUN, AFTER ALL! 🤣

THE RIDE THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AS YESTERDAY'S RYDE ALSO WAS, AND HOW CAN ONE BEAT THE BEAUTY OF TELLURIDE? THEN ON TO GATEWAY AND A TOTALLY DIFFERENT SCENERY, JUST AS MAGESTIC!

Due to 3 different emergencies in the last couple of weeks which cut out all of the already only 9 attendees, I am enjoying the scenery and conversations with one amazing ryder. I miss you all who couldn't make it as well as former year friends who were here! We are having a blast and the colors and weather are epic! Colorado has more orangy-peachy Aspen leaves this year.

DAY 1- OCTOBER 1, 2025:

DELICIOUS ACAI/MANGO BOWLS FOR BREAKFAST IN MONTROSE.
RED MOUNTAIN PASS (MILLION DOLLAR HIGHWAY), AND BOX CANYON FALLS. WE MET A WHITE RETRIEVER PUPPY IN THE PARKING LOT. LUNCH IN GORGEOUS SILVERTON WHERE WE WERE ENTERTAINED BY THE OWNER OF A 100 YEAR OLD CAR.

Words can't describe the beauty! I hope the picture says a thousand "wows" like I did!
