Sunday comes every week.
But that doesn’t mean you have to ignore when your soul is tired.
One thing I think we as people serving in ministry need to normalize more is healthy breaks, honest conversations with leadership, and recognizing when we shouldn’t rotate for a season.
Not every dry season means you need to quit.
But not every dry season should be ignored either.
Sometimes you need rest.
Sometimes you need to sit and receive instead of constantly pouring out.
Sometimes you need your team to carry the room while God refills you privately.
And that’s okay.
You are a vessel, not the source. Burnout helps nobody. There is wisdom in knowing when to pause, communicate, heal, and reconnect with God beyond the responsibility of serving.
